We decided to start the Southwest Florida Voices for Recovery to help draw attention to the positive forces working to help people recovering from addiction.

The disastrous economy in SW Florida has made it difficult for some to continue treatment.  Our fundraising effort will be used to help some of the neediest patients.  

Addiction is an enormous problem in our area

Many are people who have become inadvertently addicted because of an accident or illness.  Others have made a poor choice and become addicted to "recreational" drugs.   Alcohol abuse rises with economic and social stress.  

We want to call attention to these problems this month.

Who We Are

We are people who care about helping people with addictions.  We are doctors, counselors, recovery coaches, parents, husbands and wives, grandparents, companies that make medicines to help addiction recovery.
